Anthony scott Higginbotham was born in 1966 in Dallas Texas. At the age of 9 he was adopted by the Methodist children’s home in Waco Texas until he was 13. When his second family the I.O.O.F. Children’s home adopted him. Growing up he loved reading comic books. Which led him to write his own stories and even poetry. Falling in love with words and the promise they held that anything was possible. Scott grew up and created a family of his own. A wonderful wife and three beautiful kids. Scott wrote stories for his kids that their mother would read to them every night. Scott now resides in Colorado Springs Colorado. Where he has lived for 35 years. The Christmas mouse story was the very first story he ever wrote for his kids
